Welcome to 4HACKS Learning. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our platform.

2. Description of Service

4HACKS Learning is an online education platform that provides courses, learning materials, quizzes, and certificates in Web3, blockchain, and related technologies. Our services include but are not limited to course enrollment, progress tracking, certificate issuance, and community features.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of our platform, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct

When using our platform, you agree NOT to:

5. Course Content and Enrollment

By enrolling in a course, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You acknowledge that:

• Course content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from course content
• Course access may be time-limited based on the specific course terms
• We may update or modify course content at any time
• We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or job placements

6. Certificates

Upon successful completion of a course, you may receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are issued based on meeting the course requirements (completing lessons, passing quizzes with required scores). Certificates are verifiable through our platform using unique verification codes. We reserve the right to revoke certificates if we discover that completion was achieved through fraudulent means.

7. Payments and Refunds

For paid courses and services:

• All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated
• Payment is required at the time of enrollment
• We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated
• Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase
• Refunds are not available after substantial course completion (more than 30%)
• We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time

8. Intellectual Property

The platform, including its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, and software), is owned by 4HACKS Learning and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform, but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with our services.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with use of any such content or services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL 4HACKS LEARNING, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 4HACKS Learning and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the platform.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which 4HACKS Learning is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the platform or by email. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
